Yard Signs

A yard sign is corrugated polypropylene — coroplast — printed on one or both faces and mounted on a steel wire H-stake pushed into the ground. The board is 4mm of fluted plastic: two thin sheets bonded to a row of hollow vertical channels, the same construction that lets it flex in wind without cracking and ignore the rain, sprinklers, and morning dew that would pulp paper or delaminate foamcore. Both sides print by default, so the sign reads whether a driver approaches from the north or the south.

Signs earn their keep on visibility per dollar. A street of the same name on supporter lawns does what no single mail drop can: repeated, free impressions on everyone who passes, day after day, straight through election day or an open-house weekend. That is why they anchor local campaigns, real-estate listings, ballot-measure pushes, and event wayfinding — anywhere the job is to plant a name or an arrow where people already are and leave it working around the clock.

Flute direction is the one spec people forget and the one that decides whether a sign stands up. Coroplast flutes must run vertically so the two prongs of the H-stake slide straight up into the channels and grip the full height of the board; a sign fluted the wrong way has no channel for the stake and folds over in the first gust. We set print orientation so the flutes always run top-to-bottom, register both printed faces to each other, and cut every sign to its finished size. Standard 18 x 24 covers residential lawns, 24 x 36 carries from intersections and moving traffic, and custom sizes run when the placement calls for it.

Steel H-stakes are ordered with the signs and packed together — one stake per sign unless you specify doubles for oversized or wind-exposed boards — so the field team unboxes a sign, a stake, and nothing to assemble. Design for distance: a big name, a few high-contrast words, and no fine print, because detail vanishes at driving speed. And order a cushion. Signs migrate, blow down, and disappear, so most local races place at least one reorder; a confirmed lawn count is a floor, not a ceiling.
