In-Home Date Estimator: when your mail actually lands
Pick a mail class and the date the mail enters the USPS, and the estimator returns the expected in-home window. It uses USPS published service standards, or our own planning figure when Marketing Mail is drop-shipped to the destination SCF.
Planning Tips
- Time-sensitive mail (political, event invitations): use First-Class or drop-ship at SCF/DDU to compress the window.
- Marketing Mail is the most economical class but the window is the widest. Plan a 10-day cushion before any event date.
- Drop-shipping Marketing Mail, letters or flats, to the destination SCF typically lands pieces in 3-5 business days vs 3-10 from origin.
Planning backward from a date instead? The Mail Date Planner builds the whole production schedule from your in-home date.
Planning a mailing?
Send us the piece and the quantity. Postage is usually the largest line on a mailing, and it is decided before anything prints. We will tell you what your piece actually qualifies for.
