Flat Flyers & Brochures

A flyer is the everyday print job of every campaign and business: one full page, printed sharp and used everywhere. It is the sheet stacked on the counter, pinned to the community board, handed across the table at an event, slid into an envelope behind a letter, or dropped into the take-one rack. Nothing about it is precious: you print it fast, hand it out widely, and update it the moment the message changes.

Reach for a flyer when the message needs more room than a postcard but does not warrant a booklet, and when the same content has to live in more than one place. A canvassing team wants a handout; the follow-up mailing wants that identical sheet inside the envelope; the counter wants a stack. Because a flyer so often rides in a mailing later, we print it with that future in mind from the first proof, so a handout today can become a letter-package insert next week without a redesign. When the message needs panels instead of one face, that is a Half-Fold or Tri-Fold Brochure, and we will say so at quote time.

Production is simple. The 8.5x11 sheet is the standard size; 5.5x8.5 makes a half-sheet handout, 8.5x14 a legal one-sheet, and 11x17 or 12x18 a poster-size sheet for the wall or the table. Stock sets the signal before a word is read: 100lb gloss book and gloss cover carry marketing shine and saturated color, 100lb text is the everyday sheet, and 70lb uncoated reads editorial and takes a pen. Every sheet is trimmed square to size, and a flyer that will ride in an envelope is checked against the envelope it is going into.

A flat flyer is not a self-mailer, and it does not need to be. Inside a letter package it is an insert that rides with the letter; on cover stock it can mail bare: a 5.5x8.5 as a letter-size card, and an 8.5x11, 8.5x14 or 9x12 unfolded as a USPS flat, laid out to the flats address and barcode template. For letter rates at a larger size, choose the folded, tabbed brochures.

When a flyer becomes mail, it gets the same handling as our largest mailings: the list is standardized and matched to carrier routes, postage is optimized against your actual data, and the piece moves through print, trim, and inserting, then into the USPS mailstream. We support the artwork with preflight, mailpiece templates, and layout guidance, and produce from your print-ready files.

On cover stock a 5.5x8.5 flyer can also mail bare as a letter-size card, and an 8.5x11, 8.5x14 or 9x12 can mail unfolded as a USPS flat, with the address block and barcode clear zone laid out to the flats template; 11x17 and 12x18 are too large to mail as flats.
