About booklets
A booklet is the piece for arguments that need pages: programs, catalogs, voter guides, and reports. Ours are saddle-stitched, trimmed, and tabbed to mail as their own finished piece, no envelope required.
Booklet mailing lives and dies on DMM closure rules, and we produce to them on a triple-tab line: tab positions, cover weights, and spine orientation are built into production rather than checked after the fact.

Booklets mail under specific DMM 201 closure rules: simple-spine booklets take three 1.5 inch nonperforated tabs in prescribed positions, oblong and wallet styles have their own patterns, and cover weight minimums apply. We produce and tab to those standards on a triple-tab line, and the interactive mailpiece templates show every rule.

Booklets FAQs
How many pages can a booklet have?
Saddle stitch works in multiples of four pages, comfortably into the dozens depending on paper weight. Past a certain thickness, USPS flat standards and stitching limits both come into play, and we will flag it at quote time.
Do booklets need an envelope to mail?
No. Tabbed correctly, a booklet mails as its own piece, which is the point: full pages of content at flat or letter rates without inserting costs.
Can each booklet be personalized?
Yes. Variable data can address the cover and personalize inside pages in the same press pass.
